Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy Assistant Field Technician to join our team. This critical role involves conducting property inspections, performing basic maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with property standards, and building positive relationships with vendors. Key Responsibilities:

Property Inspections
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
- Document findings and provide detailed reports with photos and recommendations.
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly.

Basic Maintenance Tasks
- Perform light maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Changing smoke detector batteries.
- Replacing HVAC filters.
- Replacing smoke detectors
- Tightening fixtures and minor repairs as needed.

Vendor Coordination
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor activities to ensure timely and quality completion of services.
- Provide feedback on vendor performance.

Communication and Reporting
- Communicate effectively with the property management team and tenants regarding inspection results and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and inspections in the company’s property management software.

Technology Use
- Utilize property management software, mobile apps, inspection apps and other tools to streamline workflow and reporting.
- Stay updated on the latest technology and tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in property and facility maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of property systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and ability to perform minor repairs.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with mobile apps and property management software; ability to adapt to new technology.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations, troubleshoot issues, and provide practical solutions.
- Physical Requirements: Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.

Transportation: Reliable personal transportation, insurance and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with construction, real estate investment or property management companies.
- Familiarity with metro Atlanta neighborhoods.
- Certification in basic property maintenance or related field is a plus.
